Why these ingredients?

Strawberries 🍓

  • bursting with antioxidants, they help combat oxidative stress and inflammation in your dog's body

  • support cognitive function, joint health, and overall vitality

Bananas 🍌

  • provide dogs with low-calorie and low-fat satisfaction for sweet cravings between feedings

  • high in potassium, biotin, fiber, and copper

  • contain the B-vitamins that are key to the production of serotonin, which can help improve the mood

  • low in cholesterol and sodium

  • high in fibre, may help with stomach problems

Bananas are high in sugar so I make sure to add just a little bit and use banana flour (from Tenerife) which is sugar free.

Apples 🍎

  • have a high water content, which can help keep dogs hydrated, especially during hot weather or periods of increased activity

  • low in fat and calories

  • rich in essential nutrients, including vitamins A and C, which support immune function and overall health in dogs

  • vitamin C acts as an antioxidant, helping to neutralise free radicals and protect cells from damage

  • contain dietary fiber, which aids in digestion and promotes gastrointestinal health

Peanut butter 🥜

  • adds irresistible flavour and texture while providing healthy fats, protein, and vitamin E

  • a great source of energy and promotes a shiny coat and healthy skin for your dog

Some peanut butter brands contain an ingredient called xylitol, which is toxic to dogs and even eating small amounts can be fatal. No worries, we use only bio products and the butter added to our cookies has only one ingredient: peanuts

Maca

  • a superfood known for its energising and revitalising properties

  • helps improve stamina, endurance, and overall vitality in dogs, keeping them active and thriving

Green banana flour

  • contains a probiotic that provide the crucial food for your pet’s millions of gut bacteria to ensure their digestion is good

  • can potentially reduce inflammation

  • an excellent source of dietary fibre, which promotes healthy digestion

  • a source of magnesium, which plays a role in energy production and supports bone health

  • rich in and vitamin C, which aids in the immune system function and contributes to collagen synthesis for healthy skin

  • has a lower glycemic index, which helps to maintain stable blood sugar levels

Whole oats

  • a good source of fiber and complex carbohydrates

  • gentle on the digestive system

  • help regulate blood sugar levels, keeping your dog feeling satisfied and energised

Uncooked oats are difficult to digest for dogs and can give them an upset stomach, but they are baked and safe in my cookies.
