It all started with Darwin
He’s always hungry
Meet Darwin, our English bulldog, the inspiration behind my creations. His charming demeanor, and his unique character define the spirit of "patas y ladridos." But Darwin, like many of us is facing a challenge — his weight. Despite long walks along Avenida Anaga and in our beautiful ravines and forests, he is very… plump.
As Darwin became an integral part of our family, we found ourselves wanting to share our meals with him. However, the uncertainty surrounding what he could safely consume and our never-ending battle to make him ose weight led me to delve into the world of canine nutrition.
I became aware that the industrially made snacks are made from ingredients that are not at all beneficial to dogs’ health, not to mention to his weight. They also often contain additives and preservatives which Darwin doesn’t need to consume. That is why I started experimenting with organic ingredients, ensuring each treat was not only enjoyable but also nutritionally sound.
Dogs’ bakery
This online shop is a reflection of my journey as canine nutritionist and a dog-lover. From handcrafted, bio, and organic cookies, muffins and churros to birthday cakes specially crafted for dogs, my pastries are designed with dogs’ well-being in mind. Every treat is a result of careful testing (by Darwin and his cousin, Luka) and consideration, free from sugar, salt, or any toxic elements.
Speaking of birthdays, Darwin's special day deserved more than makeshift sausage cakes. My birthday cakes for dogs are a testament to my commitment— visually appealing, healthy, and safe for our furry companions.
